More than one of me?

so.

You hear about “googling” yourself. I had done this not long after joining wordpress and obtaining this .com url.

All along my friends would love what I created and want me to “getawebsite for product.” I’m working on it and it is underconstruction for the time being. until then dear readers when you search Trudi’s Treasures, here are some gems found.

1. My first discovery was of a jeweler artist in Hawaii.  Cool mahalo.

2. A lady with splendid taste selling her high end treasures in New Jersey.

3. One who is into creation of beautiful quilts in Ohio and another one in Texas.

4. Trudie’s Treasure hutz in Tacoma, WA.

5. Trudie’s Treasures in Orange City, FL.

6. Trudie’s Treasures consignment boutique in Ho-ho-kus, NJ (also on pinterest)

7. A Trudi’s Treasures on facebook.

8. A posting of Trudi’s Treasures “deviantart” online – with pics of cats included~

9. One in SCOTLAND.

10. Treasures by Trudi (another facebook).

11. Trudi’s handmade treasures (fb).

All of the above are not me!

What is cool and endearing in the common denominator (aside from treasure) is the taste and appreciation for beauty, uniqueness and solidarity.

Thankful am i to be a part of the ‘net’ flow of treasures by trudis….as there is truly “nothing new under the sun.”

Thankful for sun.

Stay tuned for my product line.

Truly,

Tru~

I {heart} January

Ahhhh yes.

…that seasonal breath of fresh air  taken after the holidays and just before the Super Bowl, Valentines, and all the other Hallmark events that Spring breeds.

It’s a time where I relax, reflect, regroup/release, refresh, and yes, re-organize.

RELAX: These past three weeks, I have hunkered down from technology, refined sugar and all other dirty detail business.

REFLECT: December 31 was spent in quiet meditation.

REGROUP/RELEASE:  My contacts, career intent, and made a list of my own “updates.”

RE-ORGANIZE: Yes, that word implies that whatever it is, was at one point organized before, and we’re just doing it again.  That’s accurate.

I have been going  through closet and garage boxes that, to my cluttered surprise are more organized that I expected.

Therein was the breathtaking discovery of  jewelry given to me by mum…some of which belonged to her mother, and my own collection of “treasures.”

Yes, I have decided this year to take the plunge and share items that I’ve cherished over the years and still do.

Perhaps a bit of “RE-PURPOSE?” Entrez RE-FRESH!

Stay tuned.

P.S.  Good to be back.

I would love to meet the salesperson who…

well, actually to meet the person whose idea it was to market 58 plus shades of grey to the auto paint industry for the past five years.

Seriously, this color covers all brands of vehicles, leaving no stone unturned: the Beamers have it, the MB’s have it, Fords, Oldsmobiles, Mazdas, on and on.

There’s a market for you:  tap into that and sell away!!! The perks have got to be over the top. I’ll bet that person is on an island somewhere enjoying the paper umbrella drink and not counting the calories, but the coins: cha-ching!

cha ching

Meanwhile, for those of us who bought, we can be found in any mall parking lot, pretending not to be lost, verifying the hubcaps, squinting for license plates and light types to distinguish whose is whose, and when we think we’re close, click the unlock button on the keyring in hopes that Lassie will answer.

Ahh… relief.

Climb into car comfort.

“Oh honey, look at that! Is that car the color of wine?

A new horizon.

Zoom ZOOM zoom.

September

Years ago, a boyfriend and I broke up at this time of year.

It used to depress me. Not anymore. Life has its seasons and

I am thankful and often reevaluate my seasonal situations.

Sitting and being: gratefulness resides.

This is what else surfaced.

1. Sit review: a hero in my own mind, ha.

As for this site and blogging, I have learned that just because I can throw a room together and have it breathe beauty. (Yes, breathe.) or give words of encouragement, does not mean

that I can decorate a page with words.  There are rules. I get that. Now.

So, at my pace, in my time, I will take a class starting at zero.

2. Handiwork. Until then, my 3D world is budding with some of my own new artwork.

Have you ever tried the Painting and Vino class?

There’s a zero to hero here as well.

It was a very therapeutic experience.  These oils acrylics were more forgiving than watercolor.

I thought to go back and complete this picture. Get my own paints, add a little leaves here and there,

lighten the black branch in front…and decided against it.

Enjoy your September.

Back to Cool, literally

P.S.  Dang it. I hit the pub key and some of you are getting editing updates. Mea Culpa.

Remembrance

***

Please take a moment of silence to remember loss of loved ones, their families and those of us that remain in the land of the living on this tragic day in history.

When I posted this, it was the eve of September 10, 2014 in my time zone. I woke aghast to see that it shows September 11, 2014….talking about ice cream…banging my head on the desk and holding my heart.***
