with splashes of beauty!
Life’s Salad Dressing

Put on my creative hat returning to my initial tag Protest the Chaos with a Splash of Beauty.

Guess it’s a free association/spinoff of the Proverb a soft answer turns away wrath applied to life situations.

Not meaning to minimize life’s trauma; but to celebrate it – life.

Lots of gems pass the test of time. Mine are in process. Still.

One of the ways I protest it is by creating. I believe in Redemption.

How do you do?

My name is Tru ~

Surely I’d love to blog with you!

I’ve been here for about a year.

Want to make my words more clear.

Sometimes in life – misunderstood

due to lack of the appropriate word

I plan to share my pondering

on life and health and homemade things!

A year from now I plan to be

an improved contributor to this community!

Don’t Interrupt Me!

I wasn’t even talking.

I was reading!

I just started reading an article on ways Introverts Can Make a Great First Impression during an Interview.

BOOM!

Not one paragraph into the read  when my screen was violently interrupted with an email sign up for 35 tips on interviews or something of the sort…I don’t really remember all I know is I clicked NO THANKS… I”LL WING IT.

This is the commercial of the decade …we don’t even “pause” to bring you this announcement any more, it’s

HEY GIMME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS!

For all I know, whatever was being offered may have helped me. Instead, I spent the morning unsubscribing emails (to follow on twitter).

I {heart} January

Ahhhh yes.

…that seasonal breath of fresh air  taken after the holidays and just before the Super Bowl, Valentines, and all the other Hallmark events that Spring breeds.

It’s a time where I relax, reflect, regroup/release, refresh, and yes, re-organize.

RELAX: These past three weeks, I have hunkered down from technology, refined sugar and all other dirty detail business.

REFLECT: December 31 was spent in quiet meditation.

REGROUP/RELEASE:  My contacts, career intent, and made a list of my own “updates.”

RE-ORGANIZE: Yes, that word implies that whatever it is, was at one point organized before, and we’re just doing it again.  That’s accurate.

I have been going  through closet and garage boxes that, to my cluttered surprise are more organized that I expected.

Therein was the breathtaking discovery of  jewelry given to me by mum…some of which belonged to her mother, and my own collection of “treasures.”

Yes, I have decided this year to take the plunge and share items that I’ve cherished over the years and still do.

Perhaps a bit of “RE-PURPOSE?” Entrez RE-FRESH!

Stay tuned.

P.S.  Good to be back.

They aspire me but yet I envy them. To be able to write and awaken emotions, causing one to ponder, to cry, to laugh, to fear, or just to shake your head, if only I could have the skill with words to create poetry in motion like my favorites Maya Angelou, produce thought-provoking pieces like my poet laureate Langston Hughes, the ability to spark imagination like Stephen King, or have a whimsical style like Shel Silverstein, but I also enjoy: SylviaPlath, although at times her poems can be quiet depressing and Edna St. Vincent Millay, ee cummings, daring writing style, I dream of a voice like Nikki Giovanni,Emily Dickinson, Walt Whitman, Ralph Waldo…
