There is a world you hide
Beneath that skin of yours
A world that nobody notices
Where the words are lighter
And heart beat is calmer
A world which is an abstract
Mix of sorrows and joys
All woven together perfectly
Making it more real than you
The face for the appearance
The smile for the audience
The words perfectly timed
An actor’s perfected act
You perform stunningly on
Stage for the world to watch
But it’s when you are alone
In voids and spaces of time
The unsure you visibly comes
Out when nobody watches
That part of you lurking in
Shadows for you to relax
A little more you, real you
Making you more human

~I QUIT ~ I QUIT ~ I QUIT ~

So my dad says he’s been smoke-free for ninety years. It’s true, and I’m thankful he’s still here.

Me? Eight (8) years since 9-21-2007 when I began a journey to freedom

from self loathing in the form of nicotine

with a community of many who went before me.

Not in Love
WITH A LOT OF SUPPORT AND NOT DOING IT ALONE
It was a quick way to skinny for me.
It was a quick way to skinny for me ~for awhile.

It is possible. Lots of writing in journals and examining why I did it and when.

So, ya, I still journal. a lot. just smell better doing it.

Frozen grapes are my new vice of choice. Try it!

It sucks though because there still are no

nicotine houses.  No, I am not one of those

looking down my nose at you who do; I know

that it could be me with just one puff.

chantix

AGHHH! Seriously? >>>running to my Q-Team!!!

Not

One

Puff

Ever.

NOPE. is the theme of Quitnet.com

Nope and Q-team gave me hope and

Chantix was an umbrella to get me across

the first 30 days crossing the puddles in the street

to get me to a different road.

Where do we go from here?

I know we was dealt with some difficult cards in life
But we just cant stop there.
God has a bigger plan for us, I can feel it……I know its near.

What I have learned during this tough time and tribulation
That everything happens for a reason
Everyone goes through a tough time,
Just so happen this is our season
There is no devine reason.

He is our God Almighty
He will see us to the end
And only on him you shall depend on
Because he will take you through,
Stay faithful to him because hes the only one that can save you.

He will lift you up, God doesn’t ask for much, your faithfulness, and your daily praises to him, which will put you on the right track, to repentency to get rid of our sins.

Where do we go from here?

Today’s Daily Prompt is:  Take Me to the Moon:

How far would you go for someone you love?  How far would you want someone else to go for you?

I would love for my answer to both parts of the prompt to be anywhere.  Wouldn’t that sound great?  Wouldn’t that mean I was the bestest parent, family member, friend, heck even the bestest complete stranger in someone’s world?  Yeah, perhaps on the surface it would.  I mean ask a lot of other parents out there what they would do for their children and I suspect the most common response would be this:  anything.  But I’ve had enough journeys on this adventure called life that have taught me otherwise.  I do my best to have and express unconditional love for others, but I do have conditions on the parameters of the relationships I have with them.

Here are a few examples …

I will…
